Chefs

Each Spring, Anne Quatrano and Clifford Harrison host the New South Family Supper, a benefit for the Southern Foodways Alliance. This year, the supper will celebrate the unsung heroes of the restaurant world, like dishwashers, waiters, valets, hostesses, and bussers.  All impact the dining experience, but few are recognized and celebrated for their work. Farmers are finally beginning to get their due. Now it’s time to celebrate those people Martin Luther King Jr called “members of the ground crew.”

Join us this year as guest chefs create dishes inspired by these unsung heroes. The roster of participating chefs includes:
  • Mashama Bailey, The Grey, Savannah
  • Greg Baker, The Refinery, Tampa
